The challenge
When HSV required support for its right-hand-drive conversion program for imported Chevrolet Silverado and Camaro vehicles, it needed a partner capable of delivering rapid engineering, bespoke manufacturing and OEM-quality solutions within a demanding production environment.
Converting vehicles from left-hand drive to right-hand drive is a significant engineering undertaking. The process involves extensive vehicle modification, including changes to the firewall, steering systems, wiring, ventilation and interior components. Every element must meet strict quality, performance and safety standards.
As with any complex engineering project, challenges emerged during development that required responsive technical support and precision manufacturing solutions.
The solution
